    Hey Vffrs,
I ride a '99 vfr and I mounted my Escort on a ram mount on the tank bolts, but still need someplace to mount my garmin 2720.
I use a smoke double bubble and would love to mount it under it.
Any ideas, I want to keep everything out of the weather as much as possible?

what about mounting the gps on the tank mount (getting the ram mount) and getting a bracket which comes off your handlebar for the radar?

A TechMount goes in the triple tree stem. Only problem I've had with mine is that it will turn slightly over time. No big deal, I just rotate it back, but it does happen.

    Info Here

    RAMology

Techmounts look cleaner to me, but the RAM is what you and I both have, so I have fired up the big brain this morning in an effort to assist you, my RAMed rider. I know you want it behind the fairing, but here's a couple options from my morning coffee time... :tea:

If you are using the two tank bolts to hold one device, is there room to add your second mount to the triple tree?

Second idea is to get some balls and put two socket arms off the tank mount, one for each device.

But the cleanest way IMHO is to get a tray/platform for your two devices and mount them together. This will keep the power clean, easy on/off and may be cheaper... just buy a tray top.

If you spend some time to go through the 38 pages of RAM accessories, you'll figure something out. :thumb: Or talk to one of the Canadian folks :canada: still snowed in :smow: and making custom trays for their bike... Likely another month of weather before they can ride on black instead of white  they'll have the time, if you've got the beer, to help as well.

    Peace.
