New can

I like the Arrow RaceTech but it's alloy and beginning to corrode underneath where the strap catches water and it gets grit-blasted every day. So, I managed to pick this up second-hand on good old eBay. Good condition, no dents, cleaned up nicely.

 

There is a highmount for the crosstourer you can get (that mounts to the 800F.) I think it was roughly $1200 US though. Not cheap!

 

It's not a straight bolt on, you have to make it fit, cut the undertail plastics etc. Does look good though it prevents use of side bags, if that's important to you.

SWEET!! Who makes that one and how much is it? I wonder if it will interfere with a Pyramid rear hugger?

 

Curious if that is actually available or if it's just a mock-up?

 

Finally got the Staintune installed. Visually, I think I like the huge stock can (aside from maybe the fact more of the rear wheel is exposed.)

That being said, it sounds great. For once in my life I'll keep the db killer in unless I'm feeling sassy.

Hey fatshoutybloke, how do you get 53.6 mpg??? I just did a comparison on my '98 w/ and w/o the PCII and I only got 37 w/o the PCII and 39 with.

 

$1200 and the loss of side bags soft or hard. Not. Its looks amazing but I could not do this to make it look and function as a sport bike. It would be good to have a rear shot to see if you put back the grab bars so possibly soft side bags could work due to pushing them out beyond the pipes.

 

Derstuka, what setup or manufacture is that?
