    Hi All,

    Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself... I'm a new owner of a beautiful '85 VF500, will try to attach a couple of pics below. Have wanted to own one of these for about 32 years, and finally found the right bike. In beautiful condition and cared for like a baby by its former owner, original paint as glossy as the day it left the factory.

    Looking forward to sharing enthusiasm and info about all these wonderful bikes, vintage and new.

    Welcome to The World! Glad to see another So Cal member and with such a beautiful machine. I too had always wanted the 500 but alas never got one. I did get a VFR eventually but would have loved to have that bike in it's hey day!

    That looks to be in better condition than when made in the factory...

    Theres a few members in or around LA & I'm sure they will spot that bike...

    I'm on the East Side, a neighborhood called West Adams... East of Culver City, just south of Hancock Park / Korea Town

    Thanks all, it is a special bike. The first owner hardly rode it, actually kept it in his living room on display... He later sold it to a friend, wonderful guy who's ridden it with care but has a large collection of bikes, and wanted it to go to someone who would be able to enjoy it more. I was very lucky to find it.

    I was 17 when that one came out and worked at a Honda dealership in the parts dept. My parents would not co-sign on a purchase even though I tried hard to sell them on it because it was a 500cc and not larger. I had a friend that got one and was lucky enough to ride it twice. Welcome and what a great find!

    Have ya been up to the Rock Store or on Mulholland?
    If not it's a must but preferably on a week day when all the squids and rickey racers aren't around.
