Hi all. I am new to VFRworld. I just purchased a 93 (3rd Gen) VFR 750 on Saturday 4/29/06. So far I am impressed with this bike. I have loved VFR's since the Interceptors came out in the mid 80's. I think they are just awsome. I hope to learn more about my bike by being a member of this forum. Thanks for letting me join and to be a prt of the group.

Thank you. Even though I am new I will welcome you here. It's nice to meet new people with similar interests. I am already enjoying it. I rode it to work last night, hoping :rain: would hold off, but no such luck. It was raining when I left work, but it was still a fun ride.

It's a blast to ride and with that nice warm frame section, I won't have to worry about keeping my legs warm. LOL

Where you from in KY? I'm originally from SE Missouri. Just a few miles from Wickliffe(sp?) KY. I have just joined the VFR ranks myself about 4 months or so ago. I think you will both be pleased. I must say I am happier with this bike than any of my previous bikes, but I must say I am a fan of motorcycles in general. I just think this bike is just the best all-around if you can't have 4 or five bikes.

I am in Danville, KY, about 45 minutes to an hour south/southwest of Lexington. Wickliffe is a good 5 hours drive from me. But still it's not THAT far. lol. One thing I have never done is to have ridden more than a couple of hours at a time, and being ona sport bike I am not sure how comfortable, or rather uncomfortable I would get. Hmmmm, maybe with a cruise control I could at least give each hand a break. lol
