Yeah I see weather.com is predicting 70% chance of thunderstorms saturday but it'll be cloudy sunday. 1 out of 2 ain't bad!

 

yeah I'm not trying to ride switchbacks in pouring down rain....so whats the plan for sunday...play it by ear and watch the weather?

 

Actually sunday should be nice. Saturday afternoon we'll confirm that the ride is on or not depending what the weather forecast is.

 

im having to cancel this weekend hopefully we can do it maybe next weekend it is suppose to rain here all the way to sunday and my daughter is in the hosptial so i cant go this weekend

 

Not gonna ride saturday, weather.com is reporting that there might be hail, thunderstorms, and up to 1 inch of rain.

But sunday is looking nice so I'll be crossing my fingers for then!

Sorry, i'm gonna sit this one out. Predictions of 3-5 inches of rain in the mountains and high winds spell wet roads filled with debri for Sunday. Temps only in the mid 50's, cloudy giving way to some sun. I think i'll wait for better conditions down the road. :frown:

I'm still in. Though when I'm at the BP gas station I'm gonna need some hot chocolate cuz it'll be a little chilly! Matt, to confirm is this BP Gas station on the same road as the 10 turners corner rd cafe? Would be nice if I had an exact address instead of just turners corner rd and bp gas station. I don't remember seeing a bp gas station in the many times I've been in that area.

For next weekend I won't be able to make it because I already got plans to take a little vacation at a beach house in NC. But that superbike race looks fun, I'll have to put that one as a maybe. I don't know, sometimes I'd rather do the racing than watch people do it.

 

I'm still in as long as the weather breaks....just remember there will be sh*t scattered on those mountain roads.
