Official VFR sighting thread

Red 4th Gen w/ black bottom on Montgomery Village Ave at around 7PM ish. I was headed out of the Village - you were on your way in. We passed (on opposite sides) right by the lake.

Anyone here?

 

Here's another one:

Silver 6th Gen on the 20th block of M Street (near a Subway), behind a chunk of News trucks. That's like 4 blocks from where I work!

Anybody we know?

 

Saturday 6/26/2010, Honda of Winston-Salem, Stratford Road, W-S NC

'96 Red 4G, looked bone stock including the exhaust can, I was getting state safety inspection, and young man and I chatted a bare minute as I backed my bike out post-inspection, and he was turning his around to take it inside the service bay for his inspection.

Peace, brother, I told him I'd seen another red 4G riding 40 Bus. Eastbound a # of times, he says he runs that road all the time -

3:30pm today 6/28/10 In Illinois. I-90 westbound just west of Rt. 59 NW of Chicago. 2007 RWB. I was eastbound in my GMC.

 

Saw a Candy Red 6th Gen negotiating the traffic circle that links NJ RT's 70 & 72, Magnolia Rd & 4 Mile Rd. About 2015, Sunday evening.

1:50 PM 6/28/2010 Kokomo, IN northbound at US 31 and Alto Rd. Silver 6th gen with what appeared to be OEM side cases and aftermarket trunk, driver with safety yellow vest and full gear.

Excited because it is the ONLY VFR I've seen on the road in IN.

 

04 Asphalt Black VFR heading south on the 405 call it 2:15/2:30pm. I got on at Inglewood & zipped past ya on the Red 07. Was doing my normal 80mph until the CHP joined & stayed with us the end of the 710. I had ya in sight until Pine & noticed ya gone. You here?

 

Yellow 5Gen. 7/1 around 5:30 heading east on hiway 50 to Pueblo Co. Looked bone stock and clean.

 

Spotted a red 6th Gen on Rt 339 outside Mahanoy City on 7/3 about 10:30 AM. VelocityFR and I (both red 6th gens) were parked at the top of the hill under the windmills. You were heading toward 54 with another red sportbike.

 

I swear to God, this thing is becoming like the "missed encounters" section of craigslist...

'I was wearing black and yellow leathers... you had a red bike, black helmet, and sexy boots. Hope to hear from you...'

I'd feel better if just ONCE, the person in question spoke up, and we had an "I MET ANOTHER MEMBER" moment... I mean, I met Chuckman @ a bike night we both attended =P

 

Saw a red 4G with North Carolina plates yesterday at the First Sunday of the Month gathering in Ephrata, PA. Nice!

Saw another red 4G the same day on the way back, parked at the curb on west side of Rte. 322 in Ephrata. Also very nice!

 

Yeah, I'm kinda feelin the same way about this particular thread, allthough, I ain't runnin into nobody with sexy boots round my way. Lucky bastage, you shoulda tailed her ass till she ran out of fuel!!!! :vtr2:

 

Just saw a silver 6th gen with hard bags getting gas right here in Susanville.
That does not happen very often.

 

Silver 6th Gen, westbound on CR537 in Hainesport, NJ, 1800 Saturday. First time I've seen a silver 6th Gen in NJ.

Clean red 5th gen w/ Staintune pipe racing today @ Summit Point. Said he lurks on here but dosen't really post, belive his name was Steve, get with the madness man!!

 

A rare double sighting today.

1) A Silver 6th Gen northbound on PA RT32 in between Dilly's Corner & Lumberville, 1130 Sunday. Said VFR was #4 in a 4 ship of misc sport bikes.

2) A really nice looking 1st Gen V45 Interceptor turning left from W Bridge Street onto Mian Street/PA RT 32, 1150 Sunday. I was at the light waiting to turn left to cross the bridge back into NJ.

One of my rare northern NJ sightings.

Friday, July 23rd, 9:05 am on Eyeland Ave in Roxbury/Succusanna (Morris County). 6th Gen. Thought it was white - not sure - but definitely had hard bags that were white. Stock exhaust.

 

Saw a 6th Gen yesterday morning sitting outside the local racing shop in town - M Racing 611 E Route 66 Glendora, CA. Looked just like mine, candy red! No hard bags though, and looked like stock pipes.

 

well we have had a "it was me that you saw" moment ....I posted about a yellow VFR.. blah blah blah, andd Marcus chimed up that it was him... still haven't met him in person though....I suck
