Well, I finally got my video of my track day at Miller Motorsports Park uploaded.

    Sorry for the delay.

You can check it out here. My friend James is on his RC51 following me, and I am riding my '07 600RR in blue and silver Dainese leathers. Made with my GoPro camera mounted on the tank of James' bike.

First two laps with trafffic, and then we take off with a clear track on lap three. My gearing is all wrong in Right Hook corner, and I shoulda been carrying way more speed through Witchcraft, but the Attitudes are always fun.

I can't look at YouTube at work! Damn you! lol!

You don't have to explain your missed shifts, slow turn in or any other mistake you make on the track...its all about practice brother, cuz very few of us are perfect at this riding thing.

    Yes it is!

The track days I am signed up for are coming up soon so i've been analyzing my past mistakes and am practicing a few things. Along with getting the bike ready.

That's what's slated for in July (Bike Work)!

Yeah, it was very helpful to see how much faster I should have been going through Witchcraft....I think I rode through it faster last year on my F4i, but I only have 550 miles (total miles) on my 600RR before it rode it on this track day....overall the bike was excellent, thought.

Sweet video Puma, I was starting to wonder if i was ever going to see it, what a way to end the weekend taking a spin around Miller, so how did you ever get rid of the wind noise?

The wind noise wasn't the problem previously, it was ignition system noise from ze Viffer. It just didn't seem to be a problem on Jim's Area 51, or on my RR.

The GoPro camera has a noise-cancellation setting, if you could call it that, for high-speed use that attenuates the effect of wind noise.

I have a couple of other clips I will upload, one of me on the RR following Jim, with him in front, and a rearward looking one of me following.

    Stay tuned....

Looks like a lot of fun.

An observation ... (I don't know much about track racing)
I noticed when you lean left on turns, your head is trying to stay straight. and the same when you go right. I thought when you lean, your whole body goes in the direction
    of the turn. comments?

It *is* fun....Miller's great...I think it's my favorite track, yes maybe more so than Laguna. Way better than T-hill, aka Blunderspill.

I still gotta get those MotoGP pix up for you guys. Been soooo busy lately; NHRA was right after Laguna MotoGP, Historics are this weekend at Laguna, and I have IRL at Infineon next week. That's going to be particularly busy as I have a corporate photo assignment.
