I would like to move to get rid of the "new and improved" politics thread? It really doesn't belong here and it is causing much division! There are people here that I hold a lot of respect for because of their knowledge and experience with the machine that we all love. I for one would like to keep that opinion of these people without the distraction of politics getting in the way!! Let us focus on what brings us together and not what tears us apart!!!

Life yes, this "world" IS about motorcycles though and I personally would like to keep it that way. Lets talk about what brought us together in the first place. It is my humble request to do away with the destructive content? Please!
I dont know how that would happen, unless the consensus of moderators will go with it. The "owner" of this forum is michael and we near never see him post or offer any dialog....
I think Tink created it, but I can go either way. I highly doubt anyone changes their opinion by any dissention they read on the internet anymore. It seems more like everyone wants their opinion reinforced or just delete it if it doesn't jive with their current let's call it 'belief'.
I do think there is a way to ignore a thread if you like, though. You guys check with Tink and if he wants to get rid of it, he or I can delete the thread. Winter is coming, though and moto forums sure are boring when no one is arguing in the winter.
