Well, it's official. I received my packet with my pin, certificate, and license plate frame. Unfortunately, I screwed up on the dates of the ride. I was so tired at the end of the ride that I wrote 7/27 as the end date even though the start date was clearly 9/27 on my witness form and all my receipts. My handwriting on the trip log, though looks more like 7/27 at the beginning and then I just use quote marks. At this point I'm just glad to have my certificate. Maybe I'll do the 1500 mile ride this year and write neater.
I resemble that comment! Just finished it up actually and it really helped pass my afternoon so thanks for putting the effort in Reg! Well written and quite engaging.
So. Can I still sit at your table and drink beer with you or do I have to clean up the mud under your boots?
I'll second that. There in nothing like an iron barreled Sportster or a BSA 650 Twin to make you appreciate modern machinery. Thanks for the mini GS review. I really like the bike (color especially) and in another time and place I would consider owning an adventure bike.
