Has anyone installed one on the 8th gen? Is it as straight forward as it seems?

    Please advise

I installed one on my 8th gen. Takes a bit of time, and requires removing the left fairings, but the instructions are good. If you know how to follow directions, you'll be fine.

Mine came with one, but looks easy enough. I love it.

I've been considering getting one for my bike. Most of the parts places list 2 different part numbers for the quick shift kit, 08U70-MJM-D10 AND 08U70-MJMD11. Does anyone know what the difference between the two is?

Easy install. Hardest part is getting the left fairing off. Cable routes easy enough.

Can someone explain to me what this is? I just picked up a 2014 Deluxe.

The QS allows you to UP shift without using the clutch. Just accelerate and up shift. When the shifter is lifted with your toe, it momentarily kills the engine. If you forget and hold your toe on it too long you will really feel the bike bog. I love it.
