I have found a Demo unit that has 1K at a Ducati dealer on the web, that has the slip on pipe added, the racing levers and the touring windscreen and its white. The selling price is $13295 out the door if i was to buy this bike new it would be $14995 for bike and $3k for add ons. I am also looking at the Honda VFR 800 DLX for several $$$ less, all the reviews say they are a lot alike and the riding pos is the same. As well as how skinny they are very important as i have bad hips, my biggest issue is to find a left over 2014 2015 DLX which there i not many i might add the dealer are asking $10k-$12k plus.. So this makes my choice even harder. The worst part of all of this is that i have to do the VFR online as there are Zero within 3hrs of Kansas City. Any input would be grateful- i am sure someone on here has seat time on both. Thanks Dan.
If you're comparing the VFR to the Duc SS you should have already read this http://www.vfrworld.com/threads/vfr-800f-vs-supersport.54410/ . It's just a few topics below yours. Cheers, Glenn
If you're old enough to have bad hips, it's time to quit buying things based on price. I'd buy the Duc, I've had lots of Hondas. I like to try new things.
LOL, agreed. So, was $18k otd, now $13.3k otd. Smoking deal with goodies! I mean, if the bike fits and you got the dinero. I would do it in a hot minute. + Which model anyway?
