    Yeah it's a good deal if you are a buyer. I can't even seem to get an offer for my 98. If someone would just show up to look at it with cash I'd prob let it go for $1500.

    Same up here in Alberta, Canada. Some really good deals to be had. Two or three years ago a real bad bike still fetched $2000.00. Now, for $1000.00 you can get a not bad bike. A guy just sold a 1988 Honda Hawk GT650 with 45,000 km for $1200.00 o.b.o.. Was really nice looking, except for a small dent in the tank. If I could've walked, I would have scooped it. Only lasted one day, until sold.
    The 3rd, 4th, 5 th Gen. bikes have some serious "build quality." Super good value for the dollar.

    Yeah I would have scooped that hawk up also just to have for someone wanting to learn. One of the best learners IMO.
