    actually been putting a lot of thought into it. With the smaller crowd we can do more miles and we can discuss multiple routes. The weather is supposed to cool a little so we could stay inland of we choose. We have options. Also I am seriously considering smoking some pork ribs with a dry rub ala Missouri style which takes a bit longer but mmmm....

    I was just wondering the same thing. Head count, Drew. You said you and Bruce were going to help set up, clean up, whatever. We have RV where I believe John is planning on sleeping as are you, correct? I suspect Bruce will stake out his own zone. There is room in the basement, but we tore out the carpet so it's bare concrete right now and cool down there. Jake said he will shoot whoever slept on his couch last year and snored all night so we might have to arrange someone else sleep there. :) Was it Brooks?

    We will post up the live feed via gotomeeting by citrix. As long as you dl the plugin it's a no brainer. It performs MUCH better than other live feed options we have tried in the past.

    There are a lot of things you don't get R. Just be confident and happy in your little world of the ignorant. (i.e. Canadian) Plus, Long disturbs a lot of people.

    I was under the assumption that I was part of the setup/cleanup crew. Last year I slept on a matress out back under the overhang. If it wasn't for TC snoring (at 50 feet), I would have slept through the night. Do you still have tents? Blow up matresses? (No, Long. Not blow up dolls! Geeze.)

    yes we still have tents and at least one mattress. I think we will have plenty of sleeping areas. We even having anti gravity chairs that I could sleep in if needs be.

    Damn you SSrwb. I thought I had a chance at an inside spot. Grrr. Maybe next time. I'm actually very comfortable outside on the pavement with a sleeping bag. Just keep me AT LEAST 60ft away from TC. I brought extra huge ear plugs just in case I'm inside the "30 ft from TC death and no sleep" zone. Oh, the humanity!

    Let me know soon as you can. Chomper, Kingsley, Jasonsmith and I might be doing a BC, Washington, Oregon trip in September sometime again. Hopefully this time Chomper won't write off his ride. We could meet and do some of it together. I have the room if you make it all the way. You will see a different side of me though around the wife. Not that she controls things but she tends to make some things happen....or not to happen.

    Actually if I come down that way again just for R3, I was thinking I might actually take that eastern route. Looks like a nice ride and I don't think it is much longer than slabbing the I5 time wise.

    I see nothing about rain. Weather.com is showing temps in the 70's and 80's with only a 10% chance on Friday. :unsure:
