I've heard that there is a way to remove the evap canister. It looks very easy to remove it. My question is if I remove it is there anything I need to do in order to not flash codes or mess with any sensors?

I removed mine last year and have had no issues at all. It sure makes the oil filter change easy!
As I recall the only revision was to configure a fuel tank vent tube. That was pretty simple.

I kept the original parts in case the next owner wants to (or needs to) put it back to stock.
