restoring & adding a modern touch to a 86 vf500

    I dont know what to tell you Matt....unless the ride height of your bike has been lowered (which it shouldn't have been with the Wheels, forks, and rear shock upgrade) you shouldn't be touching the header.

    No (realistic) amount of lean can cause this.

    I actually forgot which thread it was in exactly. (I was reading through looking for info and I stumbled upon it)....but Squirrel was giving his opinion on the VF500 motor and it's crappy top end, Jamie said to another member that he puts Squirrelman on his Ignore list, and Squirrelman respond with: You can't put the truth on an ignore list Jamie. :lol:

    It was a good comeback...funny and true.
    Plus I respect Squirrelmans' candor....so I added it to my sig.

    got a few updates ill be buying clip-ons for the the bike, did'nt realize that vortex makes adjustabe clip -ons for 165.00 so that rocks!! and i am getting that the ass of the bike jacked up so more to come but things are just moving slow at this point
