restoring & adding a modern touch to a 86 vf500

    HOLY!!!! looks clean and nice, i guess i know what you mean now when you said you like to be sleeper lol. looks almost stock i barely spotted the intercooler and thought i would ask. you are my hero now lol.

    well i made some good ground today on the bike, got the swing arm off it had a little damage on it where the chain came apart btu not to bad, fitted my hindle exhaust on it, and removed the rear shock. time to start building the airfilter system so i can run pods on it. enjoy some more photos!

    Rock on man, that black header looks nice. Any thoughts of getting the midpipe coated as well? Is that the ceramic coating we talked about before? How much did that cost you?

    yea its a ceramic coating, i only paid 100.00 bucks for it, i thought about
    getting the mid pipe coated.

    i still need to put the back wheel on and the shock and get the front wheel machined, but its all good in the hood

    today i picked up my, f2 front wheel yea!!... and also so bought front and rear braided brake lines, since they dont sell a clutch line for it im going to have one made up i had to dive into the car parts pile but i found the prefect line, there be more updates but i need too start getting parts in before i can go any further.

    Nice, i have to change my clutch i guess ill steal your idea and change the hose at the same time, do you know what you got it from? And as we are on the topic of the front wheel, does anybody know where you can get cross drilled rotors for the vf500?

    NSR400 rotors fit to vf500. Also Kagizume does rotors for vf HONDA.

    i dont really remeber where i got it from?? i know ive had it for awhile.. ebc makes front and rear rotors for the 500s check bikebadit.com

    NEWS update i have found a authentic honda solo seat for the bike soo..that shit is MINE!!!!!! so the bike will soon have a solo seat YEA!!!!!

    and matt can you send a picture of the solo seat im really interested in what that looks like, is that like just the rear seat cover? or the complete seat?
