I have very sad news; Ian "Crash" McKay, known on this board as IrishCrash, lost his life in a recent accident. I actually learned about it via his Facebook account, as he was one of the funniest FB posters I had ever seen.

I rode with Ian and his lady many times, we did a whole season of Monday night bike rides in Michigan before we moved. RIP, Ian, you will be missed.

My sons are that age (24 and 25). Can't imagine having to go through something like that. God bless him, his family, and his friends.

Sorry to hear, loosing a friend and fellow rider must be tough.

    ***Note to all***

PLEASE RIDE SAFE i've heard way too many 'my friend went down'/'i went down'/'a guy i know died on a motorbike' stories lately. I would love nothing more than to never hear something like this again.

    godspeed 'crash' McKay

Hey Echo. What can I say that has not already been said. And it really doesn't matter the age either. ANyone to leave this world tragically is sad beyond words. And Bweiss, you have certainly got it right there. By gosh, by golly and by the Grace of God, I have had a few close calls, but He was watching over me and brought me through.

Play hard, play often, but play safe.
