    Group buy ?

You bought it through a group buy? And who set that up? On sandhills they only show availability of blk/blk or blk/red.:smash:

VFR don't get Surfer started on the Group Buy thing. He's the Pot Stirring Bastage for a reason:biggrin:

    stirrin the pot bastage

Guess I don't have the history to know what you are talking bout. I just got my bike and all this reading here makes me feel like I got a lot of Mods to make with limited $$$. So you see why group buy is of interest. Plus, like I mentioned, sandhills does not offer with the silver.

Short version...Surfer was giving me a hard time because I wasn't able to get in on the group buy.
He is right though, Sandhills is about the cheapest you'll find the Sargent Seat.
You are right. The more you visit the site, the more "mods" you want to make.

    Now I understand

Instead of getting another together you just went on your own ah?

Now if I can just get it with the silver piping.

If I get through them can I get it shaved down a bit? I have read that Sargent will do this, but did not know if you have to go direct.

Well I asked around about a group buy, but it would never materialize. So, I saw where Sandhills was having a big sale and jumped on it.
According to Sargents website they will work with you to get the seat how you want it. From what I've read on this forum, people that have dealt with Sargent direct were very pleased.
Good Luck, and keep us posted.

I bought my seat through a group buy at Sandhill from another (no where near as cool) VFR website. Jamma man is just jealous because he missed the boat! What a slacker...:ass:

As for the silver piping, Sandhill was able to drop ship the silver directly from Sargent. Don't worry about not seeing it on their site. They sold it to me at the same price even though they didn't have it in stock.
