ok, so I purchased a new sprocket, and it's too big for the chain I currently have on the bike, so I need to replace the chain ;)

    Questions are as follows:
    1) for a commuter bike, I should be using an o-ring chain, right? I checked prices and non o-ring chains are cheaper, but I don't wanna be lubing the thing every day...

    2) is there a difference between gold and silver chains?

    3) do you folks have a preferred brand that seems to work well for you?

    Thanks mates!

I have a 11000 pound rating EK ZZZ O-Ring on both my bikes 6k on it on the XX no adjustment yet, 4k on the VFR no adj yet paid $70 to $80 each + shipping on Ebay, the stronger the chain the less stretch. Both bikes ride smooth.

I don't see the guys listing on ebay now, he has smoking deals from time to time.
