What this dude has missed is that our Canadian friend "El Xoomer" is one of those dent removal pros. We won't mention the other things he missed since this is "be nice to the slow day" .

Bid on the POS with the dent is 50 pesos cash on the cabeza.

Yeah, you're right. I'm totally in the wrong for wanting my stuff pristine. Jerk. You belong on a Harley, poser.

Your skin is apparently as thin as your gas tank.

Ironically, it's the Harleydoods that want their bikes pristine and can't stand it if there's even a speck of dust on their rides! What we find odd is that you'd rather sell your bike than to live with it as-is, or at least until you can fix it or find a replacement tank. BTW, you never said what year your bike is. I have found several gas tanks on eBay and other places that are in very great shape and would not cost you $900! The years span from 1999-2007 but not knowing what year your bike is, we have no way of helping you find a replacement. I sent you a PM yesterday with a link to a possible find, but I assume you didn't get the PM or it wasn't for your model year.

Now I suppose we can't be in his fan club anymore. Drat!!

Stuff has a couple of meanings in my hood. This might be perceived by some as virgin. Dude may get jumped by harleydoodbabes just back from Sturgis. A sure thing for more dents..

To those of you who have made use comments, thank you. For those of you who did not, I know you're not my son as your mom swallows (most of the time). I'm surprised you actually came (no pun intended) to be.

How come you fool didn't put a slider on that tank- You should just get a used one, but a dented tank does look cool however-put a decal over it or a bandaid.:croc:

How bout that thermal technique using canned air and a heat gun?

What should be stated is that there is going to be a limit on which tanks can be fixed using the various methods above save "old" style type bodywork and filler. Older bikes ie vintage and antiques did not have the modern paints on them that are used today.

Dent or ding is a catchall. There is a great difference in types of damage. Case in point, a dimple or concave shape vs a crease or wrinkle.

that's a kitten not a cat, kittens aren't grown up yet. even a tank pads help. Better yet don't hit the tank and you don't need to fix it. You can hit the big tanks however with a RPG:gun3:
