Hey Paddle,


Sorry I missed you but work got in the way. Did not even see your post til Sunday. We need to get together in the Spring and do a ride.

 

Ok, the Greenville show is this weekend. Weather permitting, I am meeting a couple guys at the Crackerbarrel on Woodruff Rd. between I-85 and I-385 at about 8 am Saturday morning before hitting the show. It would be nice to see a group of VFRs in one spot.

Hey, looks like you will get a chance to laugh at all the upstaters when the snow starts!

 

I hope it doesnt snow for real. I only have bikes...my vfr and my Ducati Multistrada... should be an interesting ride into work on Monday!

 

You may be sol depending on the timing. If the precip is heavy it looks like it may be all snow starting early this afternoon. There is only a very thin layer of warm air at the surface keeping it rain.... You need a cheap cage for emergencies!

 

I'm in Simpsonville. Hopefully it will warm enough to ride this week.

 

Lookin like 70's! Heck of a lot better than 8" of snow!

Anyone out there wanna get together for a ride this Sunday? Had planned on doing Joey_Dudes N Georgia ride part 2 until it snowed. Does anyone else want to go when he reschedules?

 

Joey_ Dudes North Georgia ride is on for the 28th / 29th of March. I'm going to meet them in Clayton, Ga. Sunday morning the 29th. Twisties all day! Who else wants to go with us? We need some SC representation.

 

Yeah, I might go with yall on that ride. I'll know more as we get closer to the date. I definately plan on going on quite a few rides this year though. Good to see there are some other VFR's in the area.

All Day really, but I don't know if my wrists could take that! lol

 

So, what are you up for? Do you just go up and down 178? I live only 20 mins from there.

I usually like to do a couple hundred miles over the course of the afternoon.

 

A couple hundred wouldnt be too bad. We could do 178 into Rossman and then maybe the Parkway East? Anything is good with me as the weather is supposed to be great tomorrow. I am in Spartanburg and it is about sixty miles for me to the Mobil station on 178.

 

I am up for a ride tomorrow morning and afternoon if we leave early. Anyone interested in meeting up at 178 early morning, say 7:30ish and going up through there? 178, 215, parkway, or to Warwoman, NGA, Helen area? I am game for anything. Have to be back in the afternoon in GVL.

 

7:30 would be a little early for me as I am an hour away. Could to maybe 8:30
