This is all playing into his tiny troll hands and intellect. Let it go. A troll will die when there is no longer anyone to pay attention. I believe we have all said our piece and stated our position. There is nothing left to be gained from this. He can troll himself, based upon the numerous posts with no response, earlier in this thread.

I've really developing a liking for hockey over the last few years. I like to tell soccer players that hockey is soccer for non-sissies. They love that.

LOL! I played about 8 years of soccer, through high school on the east coast - probably would have been able to play DII but went to UCLA and wasn't good enough to play there. I remember watching Soccer made in Germany on TV on a regular basis back in the day - don't watch much nowadays, too much of this nonsense in Soccer (we never did that crap back when I was playing)... haha :D I do like watching highlights and compilation videos though...

The MoFo created for himself exactly what he wanted....personal attention. The REAL reasons for his protest are not articulated very well by him. The MoFo is very disingenuous as he has done quite well for himself being a mulatto. He very obviously isn't an African American. Nobody from Africa has his kind of skin tone and features like he does. He has mixed ancestry. He obviously has plenty of white blood in him. Why isn't he taking a stand for white people (that are allegedly privileged...what a crock) that ARE discriminated against now just for being white? Why do people call all black people in America "African Americans" when black people can be from every continent that people living in it? What difference does it make where someone is from anyway? Isn't OK to just ba an American? No other country in the world offers ANYONE as much opportunity to financially succeed as the USA. The POS is living proof of that so what's he protesting? I disrespect any American that doesn't respect the flag, the country and the people or the people that died protecting his freedom from tyranny and to be stupid. Just because he can be disrespectful doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. He also succeeded in creating and using the "herd mentality" to draw attention to himself. He's a selfish manipulator.

Why does anyone buy overpriced Nike shoes anyway (made by basically slave labor) other than because "everyone else" does and they're "popular"? Anyone can buy a damn good pair of athletic shoes from Target for a fraction the price.

This is a topic and thread that will only build on itself and cause animosity so go ahead and disagree, you'll be wrong. Pro football has become a costly sport to be a spectator in because the prima donna players are overpaid crybabies and because municipalities feel the need to use taxpayer monies to build expensive facilities for other people to profit from. Good for you, OP for taking a stand.

Wow, you are living in that wonderful state in Egypt: de-Nile. I mean you're obviously white, and have no
honest black friends or ones that will tell you the truth. No white privilege? When was the last time you're
were followed by a cop car and got seriously concerned about your welfare, or wondered if you were about
to be pulled over just because? When was the last time you were pulled over for no reason? When was the
last time a cop shot a white guy with little to no provocation, and flat ass walked away with not consequences?.
When was the last time you were called a derogatory name based on your skin color? When was the last time you
referred to a large portable radio as a suburb blaster? When was the last time you "honky-rigged" something?
Do you complain about the fat old white guys with their guts hanging out more than you complain about the
black guys with their pants down their ass? Both are ridiculous, but the fat white guys don't get the foaming-at-the-mouth
    expletive loaded rants.

People complain there's no "White History Month" like there is "Black History Month", but all the other months
    are "White History Months".

    See embedded replies.

You can say that "all the other months are white history months" but during that time, is any special attention being brought to anything white, is anything celebrated?

IMO, if one group is allowed to have a certain thing, then EVERY group should be allowed to have that same certain thing.

Ah, you finally agree with the whole subject of this thread: "IMO, if one group is allowed to have a certain thing, then EVERY group should be allowed to have that same certain thing." That's exactly what these people are asking for: to be treated as equally as any white person is treated in the same situation.

If you know the answer to the joke "What do you call a black guy in a new Ferrari?" then you can see the problem.

I don't know the answer. Is this some kind of racist joke?
Now you have me wondering what is the answer, but at the same time I probably don't want to know.

Absolutely a racist joke. But these jokes were very popular when I was in my teens and early twenties, but then it
really wasn't looked at as rascism, it was just "joking around". But the underlying theme was pretty damned racist.

I'm from Missouri so I probably heard it or even repeated it when i was young and dumb. I'm better off not refreshing my memory on that one.

Where is Bad Billy when you need him? lmao

He would probably want to change the thread to "Great Leader Trump". And how his band of "the best people" will save white males from discrimination. (At least the ones not in jail yet)

So, no responses to my replies to your questions?

Reread the very first post - I don't like kapass and I don't like nike for using him as a poster child - THAT was the subject of this thread.

As far as treatment, again, IMO/IME, there isn't as much discrepancy as some/many people claim or allege. Things that people want or demand, things like "Respect" are often TWO WAY STREETS. If my people haven't had it as "tough" or "rough" recently as some other people - well, it might also be that my people aren't engaged in a hugely disproportionate share of criminal activity here in the US; might not be killing each other in record numbers every weekend; might not be playing the race card every time something doesn't go our way; might not be attacking/assaulting/killing LEOs as much as other groups; ETC AD NAUSEAM (and we haven't had anyone in the white house, or anywhere near the same representation in public office, professional sports, all entertainment fields, etc).

As far as your joke - kapass with his nike $$$. What's YOUR answer?

I didn't see your replies in the response, just now found them. Honestly I'm not going to go over all your replies, it is just rehashing all of it all over again. You believe what you believe, and see what you desire and expect to see. I don't. I really never knew who this "kapass" is, and only know that he is a pro football player. However I do believe he is doing what he thinks is right, and is risking a multi-million dollar job, so I am lead to understand, by his actions. I do believe there is unconscious low key racism, and I am as guilty of it as anyone. I have felt uncomfortable getting on an elevator and then having 2 or 3 black guys get on. Things of that sort.

I guess you'll deal with your racism and I'll try to deal with mine. We'll just have to agree to disagree about the depth of racism in the country.

My understanding of kapass and his situation is different than your understanding.

According to the majority of the media and the left, apparently only white people can be racist... SMH...

As far as your scenario being uncomfortable with 2-3 black guys in an elevator - not enough info to judge one way or another whether you are racist or prejudiced. What do you mean by "uncomfortable"? What exactly made you feel uncomfortable (was it because the elevator was small and you like your personal space; were the black guys in trenchcoats and flashing their privates at you; were any of the guys heavyset and was the elevator old and you were scared it couldn't handle the additional weight of a few more people; were they screwing around and hitting the buttons for every floor; were you smoking and didn't have enough cigarettes to share with them or were they smoking and annoying with the smoke; were they singing with the elevator music and you couldn't stand their off key voices; etc)? What kind of building was the elevator located in? Where was the building located? What time of day or night was it? What were those guys dressed like? Acting like? Saying? Doing? Were you on your way to a business meeting on the top floor of a downtown high rise when 2-3 professional looking, well-dressed in 3 piece suits, black guys with briefcases got on the elevator with you? Or were you a prison guard riding from one floor to another in a prison when 2-3 unsecured and unescorted high power black inmates with shanks in their hands suddenly jumped on board? What I'm getting at is having "bad feelings" or "discomfort" doesn't necessarily equate to or signify "racism" or "prejudice".

You have your life experiences and I have mine - agree to disagree works for me...

    I wasn't trying to help.

It's not a coincidence that a low iQ and racism can often be found hand in hand.

Welllll, I'm not sure that's a valid point. It's easy to say that racism is stupid, but, IMO anyway, it's mostly caused
by ignorance not stupidity. If all your life you live around certain viewpoints, and those viewpoints are espoused as
correct thinking, you'll find a lot of people will grow up thinking that way. Not all, some will question those outlooks,
but I think the majority will go along.

Many intelligent people of the 1800-1900 thought that blacks were just inherently inferior, just because they were
taught that from their youth. Look at how the Irish were treated when they came to this country, and the way they
were treated in England. Many universities had a limit on how many Jews were allowed to enroll. The Japanese are
a very intelligent country overall, but racism runs rampant there. And classism, and sexism.

Stupidity can certainly contribute, but racism gets along just fine in the smarter element too.
