OK - I suspect this is just a case of a mix up by a tyre(tire) fitter but I cannot understand why the tyre valve on the front wheel points to the left side of the motorbike and the rear wheel it points to the right side of the motorbike.

I have checked that both tyres are rotating in the correct direction so its is not simply the fitter installing the tyre the wrong way around simply they got the valve pointing to the wrong side.

I am not sure what the orientation of valve stems was when it left the factory but for ease of access it would seem sensible to have them both on the right side of the motorbike which is easier to get at when the bike is on its side stand and check tyre pressures. I plan to get this fixed when the front tyre needs replacement and hopefully the fitter can balance out any impact of turning the valve to point to the right side.

I would prefer it that way, as I'm right handed. Facing the front of the bike, I would be working with my right hand. I can just turn the bars to the right to get the wheel and valve better exposed when it is half way between the ground and in the fender.

But I suppose with the same clocking, bike on the stand stand and bars to the left is really good access too.

Anyway, wouldn't really bother me I guess.

I mount mine that way. Same reason, right handed.

Mine are straight up and down in relation to the cut out face on the wheel.
