I have a 2Bros full header system I put on my '92 back in '97. Love it.
I ran it out the left side to open up that beautiful open swing arm. Great power, great looks, awesome sound.

    Hey Ravage,

I have the same setup. Two Bros. M2 V.A.L.E. system, Pipercross air filter, PCIII, and 330ohm resistors (in place of the O2 Eliminators). I love the sound as well. I knew when I purchased the pipes that the left one was a dummy, but the horsepower you get from one pipe versus two is well worth it. None of the other two pipe systems can claim a 4+ hp increase. Cycle World magazine did a comparison test and proved that overall Two Bros. had to most horse power increase of any of the others. That includes Staintunes, Remus, Laser, Hindle, Micron, Yoshi and Leo Vince. Also, the design of the pipes really makes the V4 come alive.

Well, that's my two cents. Let me know when you get your custom map. I would like to see what it looks like and see what you gain in performance. I have Coyze's (VFRD Member) map in mine. It really smooths out the throttle and the bike responds much better. His may is off da chain. Check it out.

I have the two bros. shotgun exhaust on the 97, as with others, it came with the bike when I bought it.

The cans sound nice and no real issues other than when I went to repack the cans I received some real bad service from TBR. As a result, I have joined the KC-10FE bandwagon on knocking TBR.

I know others who have had similar experiences and others who have never had bad service!? Go figure.

The story on the 2bros 6th gen is that they were fully planning to offer a functional 2 pipe exhaust. On the dyno there was a hp loss and then they tryed a single and got an increase. Well then, sell a single pipe on a 2 pipe bike? Not a chance - and STASH was born.

I just bought the TBR Stash pipes on Ebay for $600 shipped. Is it true that the factory side bags won't fit with these? Cause I just got those too and I am waiting to switch pipes before I mount the bags.

I had TBR Carbon fiber stash system on my 02 with factory saddlebags. Had to work the mount clamps to get them really tight and draw them in just slightly closer to the frame but it worked.
I like the sound and the cargo space. Black carbon fiber not as flashy as other systems but that suits me.
They did come with the bike but I bought a 2007 with lower miles, sold the 02 and kept the stash system to use on it.

I loved the way that the TBR pipes sounded on my F3 and RR. Heard that they went down hill since. Have Scorpion this time. As a second choice.

Why the panic from people about 1 working can and 1 dummy on a 6th gen ?

The OE system is 4 into 1 into 2 anyway so the exhaust is throttled through 1 pipe before it splits out for the 2 cans.

If it was originally 4 into 2 I could see some merit in the panic, but as theses are reputable exhaust manufacturers they have done their homework and are not restricting anything but increasing performance which is what we want (as well as improving looks, saving weight etc)
