    If I was competitively campaigning anything, internal combustion or otherwise, I'd keep ALL my information close; I've been burned too often professionally to do otherwise. So I didn't mean to sound accusatory or self-rightous, if it was taken that way by anybody. I would be inclined to share less information than the OP.

    Anyway, I'll zipper my... fingers? now. :smile:

    It's been so long, off memory they were a +1 over bore for '86 750 and used 700 rods due to the placement of the pin. They took 86 GSXR 750 rings of which I have a brand new set, the pistons just never went back in. I never put that engine back together.

    The little stroker blew a gasket on a test run after the track day, trying to find gaskets for a old NS 400 ain't easy, The RV 4 went perfect the whole day! I've just started to modify it more, shorten the wheelbase by 5 cm (appr:2 inches) Rising the seat by 2 cm.
    some tech data: 812 ccm
    Comp: 13,5 :1
    Reprogrammed ignition raised the revlimit: 13000

    It's been awhile since I posted anything, Been workin' my a.. off, trying to find a new workshop, and move the stuff, finally I got one , 5 min away from my house. Everything well tucked in, the two racebikes are on display by friend who runs a motorbike supply shop (Hein Gericke) so they are in the dry !
    Track days starting in April , so all set, I'm going on vacation !

    Hei. Har vel egentlig forstått at du er en normann bostt i Tyskland, så jeg skriver på norsk...har sett på bildene og må si at det er inspirerende. Har noen spørsmål jeg kunne tenkt meg svar på.. Er både tank, sete og kåpe fra cbr600r pc37? Har en -95 VFR som jeg kunne tenke meg å " pynte" litt på. ( dvs. Har engetlig 2) så jeg har en jeg kan pusle med. Har tenkt å bruke den på på veien, så jeg må jo ha kåpe med lys, men regner ikke med at det er noe stort problem. Ville være meget takknemlig for tilbakemelding.

    Bruk orginal CBR 600 kaape og sete , tanken gaar sikkert ogsaa, lykke til, jeg har fjernet all elektriske kabler og unödvendige ting ! du kan borre opp motoren til 836ccm, men da har du ingenting aa gaa paa, 812 ccm er et bedre valg. Har dessverre ikke prövd paa dyno , men det föles som 115 - 120hk paa bakhjulet. Dette maa jeg verifisere .     Super nice project Jon, I wonder how it is with the engine and if you've made changes. Is there perhaps some find on any other website on the RV4?
