Vancouver BC Area - Group Rides 2009

Hey folks - Just starting a new thread for this year.

Let's post rides here to take advantage of the e-mail notification.

When we get down to the back and forth logistics, etc - we can move it over to the "Community/Social Groups/ Vancouver - Lower Mainland Group Rides" area, to help keep the site a little less cluttered.

Good idea, the lack of notification makes it so easy to miss posts... actually I haven't been there for a bit; I should go take a look.

 

I'm going to try and get out tomorrow (Sat.) for a few hours. Say, 1 to 4 or so. Any interest out there?

Request road report / Valley guys - how are the roads out in Abb. and Chilliwack?

 

Chilliwack not good for a ride yet. I will be working weekend for the next few weeks.

Who was the westbound rider on the red '02-'04 VFR on the Upper Levels Hwy, Sunday March 1 around 2pm? Riding fairly slowly (under the speed limit).

 

Looking for more info on the Mt baker ride.

Is it still on and when?

Just finalizing vacation plans, I hope that the ride coincides with either vacation days or days off.

Looks like today will be a write-off, maybe I'll get some pre-season maintenance done until tomorrow...lol

 

Looking at the forecast, it looks like Wed. (25th) is the only decent day for awhile. I may have to make time.

Can't make this ride as I have to go to Chilliwack tomorrow for work but I think I will take the bike. I will take any riding I can get at this stage.
