Vancouver BC Area - Group Rides 2009

Shit and abuse. I don't remember 1976...I was drunk from 73 to 78 while I worked at the Breweries. Then I sobered up for the Mounties. But for the life of me cannot figure out why now.

 

Just a note to all of us who are on the Vancouver Social Group, the new update to the forum has added notifications as well as the ability to add new discussion threads, it should be much more usable now.

Hi guys!! I have not posted for a while but I wanted to say hello. Had a couple of busy bike seasons racing at Mission and this past season my wife and I had a baby girl and I managed to crash hard enough to break my collar bone and a few ribs. The VFR is still in the garage and only saw the pavement 3 times this season. I hope to meet up with you all in the spring...I sure need to get out and just enjoy a good day on the road.

'86 VF500F with a custom paint job. I'm beginning to think I'm the only one who doesn't really like the factory design (but to be fair, someone else had given my VF500F a shitty black/neon green brush paint job years before I'd bought it).

 

Welcome to the site. A number of years ago, I lived across the street from one of the Dorman brothers. The crazy one. Was so happy when I moved up Island to CR. Haven't been to Nanaimo for proably 20 years. I am sure it has changes immensly. It the Quarterway still there? Enjoyed many bottle of amber there.

I never ended up buying a VFR but I convinced my buddy to... We will be headed over to tofino for may long weekend and through Nanaimo, perhaps a lunch break in your neck of the woods might be in order!

 

I'm not in CR anymore either. Back on the LMD in CHilliwack with all them fuggen sticky cows.

 

I just bought a VFR 4th gen. I'm in Victoria.

 

Nice. Prepare to be required to prove its existence with photos.
