VF500F - removal of the end plugs inside the clip-on bars

    Hi All,

    Has anyone removed the plugs inside the clip-ons for the VF500F?

    I'm curious to know what if anything is inside.

    You bet, pretty easy to do in fact. you just need to cut off the end of the bar. I shorten mine so I can use "normal" Honda grips.

    Thank you for the post JD.

    Bummer to hear that there are not maps of to HRC valve springs inside but good to know that the tubes are hollow.

    I have enclosed a drawing of what I have on the clipboard. Custom bars ends with slots for CRG mirrors.

    I'll post more info as I get further along with this.
