    Afternoon!!

I'm having a little trouble sourcing new carb intake rubber tubes (from head to carb). I've purchased 3 sets so far and they all come in with an OD of around 50-52mm. My originals have an OD of about 45mm but the old rubber is split, hard and not ideal to go back onto the bike.

The problem with the "new" oversized ones is you cant fit any clamps on as they touch parts of the rocker/head.

I've tried CMSNL who have a stock of original parts, but even they have ones sized at 50mm plus.

    Part no: 16211MB0000

As always, thanks, and ideas on a postcard

Weirdly, the 1983 VF750F has a different part number than 84 and 85. Maybe try that one if returning is not an issue.

The parts department at CMSNL is awesome. Send them an email with the VIN # and the Engine # and they will find you exactly what you are looking for. Might take them 24 to 48 hours to respond, but they will get back to you. I have used them quite a bit and they have never failed to deliver.
