    I have an LED voltage monitor permanently hooked to my VTR1000F's battery, has caused no issues even though the bike is an occasional weekend plaything that does not get a lot of use. It is nice to be able to glance over to the corner where it is sleeping and check on the battery status (green blinks mean all is well, orange means the voltage is getting down and it is time for the charger).
