yea the super speed law is anything over 70mph on a two or anything over 85mph on a four lane is a extra 200 dollars on top of whatever the fine will be!

in all honesty i'll just run

That's the first thing I thought of , too!! But from now on there'll be a radar detector on the bike where ever I go. Truthfully, as long as you keep the speeds down on the straights and open roads we should still be able to enjoy the twisties. I do think that law will simply make more people run. Resulting in more risk of injury or death. Gonna have to go back to doing track days.

If they give you a "Super Speeder" jacket patch when you pay the fine, I might just get one!

Correction... the busa is for AVOIDING the fine. (Hint: the busa has a stock top speed of 185 mph)

Just a FYI the radar detectors won't work if the Sheriff or the Highway patrol is holding the radar. What I mean, is that they can hold a trigger/button on the radar gun until they see someone that looks like they might be speeding and then they release the trigger/button and then they gotcha. The radar detector will go crazy but then its to late, the offiicer will have your speed within one second. I know this because I work for the Sheriffs Office for 7yrs as a road deputy.

I don't think anyone minds. If my roommate can get the time off I'm going to let him ride my vfr and I'm going to bring my RC51!

if there a way to get a consolidated agenda, venue, times dates etc? This thread is too long and the details are hard to find/follow. I am in though and will be joined by my bro-in-law who rides a Triumph ST (aka VFR wannabe).

Somehow you left me off the list. I was on it originally!
This thread is getting ridiculously long! By May it's going to be 50 pages at least!

Hey, all. I've been outta the mix for a bit due to a move but I wanted to throw my name in the mix. My buddy is gonna tag along, too, and we'll probably trailer the bikes from here in NW Ark behind the RV.

Also, here's just a stupid suggestion for the meet...something like

    1st Annual VFR World's Dragon Asses run/meet/etc
