Thanks! I think it looks sinister too.
Got my Vance & Hines pipes for my '83 back from being Ceramic Coated.
They were very rusty.
I ordered a new set of disk rotors, pads, and fork rebuild kit.
When it all arrives, I'll visit the local suspension shop to redo my valving, allready have Racetech springs.
Just finished putting a 954 front end on my 93. Was waiting on new rotors and they came in last monday. Still haven't gone for a test ride yet to dial in the clipon position.
additionally, I did scuff the right side of my front fairing on my 07 with a stack of roof shingles while working today. does that count as doing something to my VFR? I hate bone head accidents to my bikes.
Where are you getting the rotors REEK?
ebay. there's some Galfers and EBCs on there. went ebc since I had good results in the past
New clutch and brake levers!
and thats what went on.
Jorgescar, how's the rebuild going? You riding that thing yet? PM me if you need any hard parts, I'll look around and see what I have. I still have a bunch of stuff I need to get rid of from my previous 3rd and 4th gen projects.
Installed a Garmin Nuvi for easy removal.
Power cord runs along tank, under seat & connects to a 12V power outlet there.
just waiting on a replacement rear tire. She's ready for state inspection next week!
good to hear. Good luck with the inspection. Hope you get plenty of riding in before the lake effect snow. I assume you get that where you are? We used to get hit by it in Rochester growing up.
I ordered a 45T today from sprocketcenter.com hope to have it by this weekend
Now 5th gen has a 17/43 stock . 6th gen has a 16/43 stock . so I will be 16/45 I should feel it . I looked it up at 75 mph I'll be turning 500rpms more then stock in 6th gear . And yes we have speed limits of 70mph .
I have my fingers crossed!
UPS truck dropped off my rear tire.
I installed a rear hugger, bar risers, and a factory quick shifter.
Got any pictures of the hugger DD ? Thanks
Mounted the new rear and took a quick ride
