    Small Cortech

I use a small Cortech, it works great for me. It's magnetic and stays on at warp speed. It holds my cell, a 4 cigar humidor, my billfold, and a few other items.

Schrader, I recently bought the Icon "Urban" tank bag for my 98 VFR. It has four small magnetic pads that cling very well, a tether strap from the handlebar for added security, a soft nonslip surface that touches the tank, and it holds quite a bit(notebooks, lunchbox, whatever). It will also turn into a backpack and helmet holder. I ride fairly aggressive and it never slides or gets in the way. Paid $115 at a Honda dealer which isn't any more than they were selling for on some websites.

Thanks guys! I wanted a good fit to the tank, I have been to several shops checking them out, might end up with two, a really small one for around town and a bigger (expandable) one for extended touring.
Also like the idea of one turning into a backpack/helment holder, at my place of employment it is a one mile walk to the control room from the gate.

Chase Harper has a lifetime waranty and is a quality product. I've had mine for six years. It is awesome.

I sent it in for a "tune up" a few years back. The velcrow wasn't holding as well as it used to. It came back with all new velcrow, new magnets and new bottom liner. All for the price of shipping (less than $20.)

To say I am satisfied is an understatement. The only bags I'll ever buy, or recommend.

You could definately fit that in an Urban bag. If I were to estimate, it is about 8-10" high when full and about 14" by 18" in perimeter.

I just got one of the Nelson-Riggs magnetic tank bags. I think it's the silver streak model. haven't tried it yet but I do not think you cant fit 2 shirts and a pair of panits in it. It's 13"L x 9"W x 6"H.

I have this Tourmaster magnetic tank bag: http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/product.php?productid=144&cat=43

Held enough for me to travel a week without washing clothes and was tall enough to use as a chest support when you wan't to rest your arms. I use the small bag daily as my work tank bag and I bungy corded it to the tail on my trips. Never have I had it move on the tank.

    tank bag

I use a small cortech magnetic bag. Small enough not to get in the way and just big enough so I can lean on it. FWIW I put some shelf liner under it. Bought it at WMT and cut it to shape with a hole for the gas cap. It clings to the tank and prevents any marks (I'm a bit anal in that department).

I have had a couple over the years, I find I like Marsee the best. Both for design and build quality. REally top notch all around. And I have used the magnetic ones mostly, just be carful it isn't dirty when you put it on the tank and you should be fine. Most have wings that fold over and cover up the magnets so they don't collect dirt. You can also get a MagNight tank top protector, the clear 3M stuff, or even self liner if you are really worried aobut it.

Other brands I have owned, Chase Harper, Eclipse, BMW, and...
