Don't envy your job at all. I used to put them there so I only had to deal with them for a short period, you for the long haul. Man you have patients and my respect.. My brother works for Cal State Cor.

 

Reactor control operator at a chemical plant that makes Plexiglas. Before that operator on offshore oil rigs off the Santa Barbara cosat. Left when the company sold. Hard to find decent work on the Cal central coast. Before that USCG.

 

Me?I ride my vfr and piss people off here.

I work for a large (the largest) software firm in Seattle (guess which one). I create training manuals for the the finance and marketing departments to test the new changes to internal applications. Nothing that will change the world but it is challenging and let's me afford the two wheel addiction. :rockon:

 

Finance and Insurance manager for a car dealership. After the sales staff sells you a car and tries to get every last penny out of your pocket, you would come into my office where I hang you upside down and shake real hard to make sure you have no loose change then I sqeeze every last dollar, you did not think you had, out of you. :ncb: :ncb:

At least that is what I am portrayed as. Not too many people like the guy in the finance office. But it is a job. I think.

 

Everyone can change the world right where you are. Don't feel like your job doesn't mean anything. If you have a passion for it(whatever it is)do it with passion. If you don't--get out and find a job you are passionate about. I did. I change the world right where I'm at.

I do like what I do and it pays ok. That was just a failed attempt to be a little funny and sarcastic. I can't complain. I work with banks to get deals approved, I back up the sales manager and run the dealership when he is not here, and I also sell warranties and ins. products to help customers protect themselves if the worst was to happen. I get a new company car every 5k miles and they pay for my gas. So again I can't complain. Sorry if I came across as saying my job is bad. :car:

Mike1313: Your humor was great and made me laugh...not a failure at all. Every job needs to be done. I worked in the car biz too...and I survived!
