I have been asked to post up pix to see what my ride looks like when I get the wheels all coated white. Well it is all done and here it is. I am quite happy with how it turned out.

    IMGP1645.jpg

Now, I think I need to get a can of that flat black BBQ paint and have a go at the pipes underneath. The centre stands looks out of place too, so it needs painting black

Think I just may paint the calipers Fire Engine Red. I was going to put a red stripe ring on the rim but think that would make the bike look cheesy. Looks good on others but I don't think it will do any justice for mine.

I want to thank Smack Doogle for parting out his bike which gave me the opportunity to get that 8 spoke, and a big Thanks to Zoom - zoom for fixing me up with a very talented powder coating shop in Kelowna.

I used to be able to post full sized pix here but for some reason all my attachments show up this way. I must be doing something wrong. If you click on the picture there, you will get a larger shot.

They front fender and the rear cowl decal are the same except one is larger than the other. They are a take off of the Maple Leaf. The rest of the graphics are as well, just more graphic. All the decals reflect light so they really pop when the light hits it at night. These were taken without a flash:

And these were taken with the flash:

    IMGP1653.jpg IMGP1651.jpg

These were taken at Red Rock Canyon near Vegas last year. But it had the dull stock 5 spoke grey wheel back then.

Those leaf graphics are cool! Usually when people put custom graphics it just looks really cheesy but yours is well done!

Those graphics are actually a take off from one of our TV networks during the Olympics. So if it is good enough for a big network, it is good enough for me. Except, theirs was pasted on a sports desk while mine is on a bike. Who's the real sportsman here?

Excellent job zoom zoom. Definitely diggin the 8 spoke. Really a good call, Zoom.

(we all know there's no way Randy could have come up with these ideas by himself).

    Really beautiful bike man!

For the rusty color pipes might want to try naval jelly before putting paint on.

It's phosphoric acid in a jelly so it doesn't get everywhere, let it sit then wash off. It neutralizes rust. It also brightens did colored chrome if I'm not mistaken.

Look into the Eastwood company too. They sell some great paint and auto body products. They have some amazing rust inhibiting paints too- just not sure if they are heat resistant.

Thanks for the compliment. I think. Now that naval jelly. You got me there. IS that something you pick up at one of those sex shops. Maybe I should ask Pliskin that questions actually.
