    Hey everyone.
Does anyone know if there are any companies that still make windscreens for these bikes.
I have searched but cannot seem to find any.
    Thanks

I found one that seems to have windscreens for almost anything. Pretty cool.

Dig this, Gustaffason emailed me back already to say that yes, they do make one! $129.99 plus S/H. Talk about quick replies.

No kidding, even in the West Coast it's late at night.

    StandOff WindScreen

I've seen a Screen from Europe that was taller with a turned up lip.
My issue was the Turbulence behind the screen, always being knocked around.:bi_polo:
And it got more fierce at speed (I like riding there lots).:eek:nthego:
So I found one of many eBay Motorcycle Parts Store from Japan/HK and went through 18 pages of screens.
    http://stores.ebay.ca/wishjf/Motorcycle-Windshield-/_i.html?_fsub=5848482015

Found one from a 1997 Kawasaki GSX750F,,.. or so,,..
I cut down the ratty (30 years old) screen and mounted the new one 1/2" up on StandOffs.

The Cure is to get air under the screen (like most new bikes) to reduce the Turbulence.
It works, real well. The wind now hits me bout 1/2 way up the helmet, and its a Clean Air Flow.
    I stay warmer too.
I'll be lifting it even higher, with a 3/4" gap and try to stand it up more.

Also put on some black DirtBike plastic Hand Guards and my hands stay warm too.
Ya, its starting to look like an Adventure Bike, but I'm OK with it. Its had plenty of Adventure.
The screens are available in various colors, many styles.
Its not LEXAN, but it was delivered to my door for $23

I was tempted to go thru Gustaffson a while back, but just polished mine out. My dad just built a custom bandit cafe, with a Guzzi styled windscreen from them. Looked great but got hit by a hawk at about 70 mph and cracked the screen. He ordered another one, it was over .020 thinner and cracked at every drill hole. He called them, they said there was nothing they could do, and said they cannot control or guarantee the QC or thickness of their screens. Well, if they can't control what they sell, who is supposed to? He is not a very happy camper.
