This is a long shot, but I have a mint 1990 VFR750F that I bought new as a college graduation present for myself. I am looking for a replacement for the Yoshimura exhaust plate that is showing some age and had a strap rub it a long time ago during one of my moves over the years. It is approximately 162mm x 44mm. I have seen smaller reproductions (140 x 38), but I really don't want to fill in any holes from the original rivets. Any idea where I can find one? I know this is petty, but the bike is perfect except for this. upload_2024-2-8_14-49-24.jpeg

That is gonna be a LONG SHOT. Your best hope is to find a damaged can that somehow has a good emblem.

Another option that you're not gonna like is to remove that one, rivet the holes (no emblem), and then "clock" the muffler (and end cap) in a new position putting the old location on the bottom/rear out of sight, and install your new emblem with high heat 3M. If you do ever come across a perfect original, then re-clock and reinstall.

I have clocked and installed Yosh emblems with the high heat 3M and it worked perfect. They are still firmly intact after 10 years.

Have you tried contacting Yoshimura directly?

I did and got a contact for the company that made the emblems, but they didn't have any old stock. He did have one that was larger from a newer model, and I bought it for $20 just in case I decide to use it.

I did see one pop up on ebay, but was too late to bid on it and it sold. It was a real NOS item.
