AGV S4. I really like it, very light weight and balanced. Only problem is the wind noise, but with ear plugs, its not bad.

as a designer/artsy fartsy type i d like to pose the question of why are helmet graphics so dizzy ing and busy.it seems that breaking you sillouhette up makes you less visible right.i do like that scorpion black dahlia though.

It seems helmets have become fashion as much as function. People choose them as a personal statement.

you may want to try one of the exo-1000's on, because they have the adjustable cheek pads.

i like the helmet, but im afraid that its not breaking in the way i had hoped, even after 4000 miles i get a few pressure points sometimes after about an hour. but thats not really the helmets fault.

I had a Shoei X-11 but would like to try an RF-1000. The only problem is that the head liner isn't removable so that could cause a hygeine problem. Why would Shoei make the cheek pads removeable but not the head liner? Other than that, I hear it's a very quiet helmet.

Had a White Shoei Z-one (now is getting some colour) and i now use a Arai GP 5X (you can see it in my avatar, the helmet its similar in shape to the helmets they use in F1) last week ordered a Takachi TK 110 (What do you guys think about this lid?) to match my red leather suit.

Let me see if i can post a pic

    My trusty lid:

HJC CL-SP ANIMUS with matte finish.

Pretty comfortable and I can live with a bit of wind noise. $130 when I bought it in 2007. Has since gone for $90-100.

Any suggestions for helmets that fit similar shape to HJC? I need just a smidge more room in my forehead area(though might just shave a bit off with a dremel)

I would like to get a SHOEI RF-1000 Camino in white. However, the last SHOEI I tried on was a bit small in XXL, even though the stated dimensions were the same as the HJC. That helmet however, was a RF200. Has SHOEI changed their sizing dimensions at all over the years? I will try on the newer ones eventually but the nearest dealer is more than 20 miles away so I'm just trying to do some research ahead of time.
