My barend weights were getting a little scratched and looked shabby and so I stripped the paint and then polished them. Polished barends look very nice and hold the shine for quite awhile before they need another polishing treatment. I replaced the barend bolts with unpainted stainless steel bolts.
Next ... you probably already know that the Blackbird fairing bolts fit the '94 - '97 fairing. These bolts have that false drilled holes. And they also polished up nicely too. Gives a nice look to the fairing IMHO. The Blackbird rear seat cowl bolts also have the false drilled holes and they looks like it would also fit the '94-'97 VFR (haven't tried those yet).
The parts number is 90112-MAT-000. DFW Honda has these parts in stock and they cost $2.19 each. If you call 817-267-2788 and ask for Dave, he'll ship them to you.
